Since its completion in 1894, this international passenger terminal has served as the hub of Yokohama Port. Many large passenger ships, including the Asuka II and Diamond Princess, still dock here. The rooftop features a 430-meter-long deck offering a 360-degree panoramic view of Yokohama Port. It is open 24 hours a day, which is unusual for an observation facility on a pier rooftop. While visitors can enjoy the illuminated Yokohama Bay Bridge, Tsurumi Tsubasa Bridge, and Yokohama Marine Tower, the view of the office buildings centered around the Landmark Tower, YOKOHAMA COSMO WORLD, and the Red Brick Warehouse is particularly picturesque. Meanwhile, the night sky over Honmoku Pier is bathed in orange at midnight, vividly conveying the port's atmosphere. It has also been recognized as a “Night View Heritage of Japan” and one of “Japan's Top 100 Most Beautiful Moon Views.”
